Reverb 10 has been going on throughout the month of December, without me. As I read the posts on others’ blogs and meandered around the main site, I realized it was not too late to join. So join I did, and I’ll spend the last few days of 2010 picking and choosing some of the prompts, in no particular order, to reflect on 2010 and what lies ahead in 2011.
December 25 – Photo – a present to yourself. Sift through all the photos of you from the past year. Choose one that best captures you; either who you are, or who you strive to be. Find the shot of you that is worth a thousand words. Share the image, who shot it, where, and what it best reveals about you.
This photo was taken by my mom last spring, while my dad and I competed in the Lifetime Fitness Indoor Triathlon. I was too happy for words. It was my second indoor tri, so I was having fun instead of being a terrified mess. I was with my family. Journey was blaring in the spin room, and I was rocking out, enjoying the moment. Silly, fun, and not worried about who might think I was being utterly ridiculous.
