It’s no secret that I’ve had a little trouble with open water swimming this season.
Well, my friends, I think I found the solution on my way to work this morning. It’s not more practice in open water, an attitude adjustment, or even weekly swims in Lake in the Hills. It’s not anything I thought of previously, my coach has advised, or I’ve read about online. But I’m happy to share it with you.
That’s right. Tim Allen. I am confident that if I hire him to speak to me in a soothing way before (and possibly during) all of my races, I’d be setting personal records all season.
For those of you who think I’m insane, I give you this:
Tell me you don’t want to hop right into open water after that.
It just so happens that Steelhead 70.3 is in… Pure Michigan. Do you think Tim Allen is available the weekend of August 14?
